Classes available for mums:

Baby friendly Postnatal Yoga

Our baby friendly postnatal yoga class is a wonderful way to come and regain your strength, connect with others and feel great, one day at a time.

These classes are designed to allow you to safely practice yoga with your baby by your side. The class is informal, friendly and relaxed so if baby needs feeding, holding or is sleeping that is fine, equally if parents just want to rest then feel free to.

Classes are suitable from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 8 weeks after a c-section, until your baby is on the move. Once your baby is moving around then you are welcome to join our Yoga Mamas “Stay & Play” sessions.

As with any exercise after birth, it is always a good idea to get the all clear from your doctor before you start classes.

Yoga Mamas “Stay and Play” Sessions

Have you ever wanted to do yoga but can’t get out in the evenings?

This class offers the opportunity to devote an hour to you, while your 0-5-year-old enjoys quality time with a team of dedicated child carers in the same room. Mums get to do a yoga routine focusing on strengthening your inner core and healing after childbirth. Children get to engage and explore in a play area right near you. The session is relaxed, safe and welcoming – you can even have your child on a mat next to you if that feels more comfortable.

The session is led by Amber. She’s a devoted yoga teacher who will support you to build up the resources for the demands of motherhood.

It’ll be the Mums responsibility to settle crying children, do the nappy change and offer snacks.

Amber will guide you to stretch, relax, and nourish yourself while you have the support of the team looking after your children.

Mum and Baby Yoga

Yoga is uniquely suited to help you regain your core-strength, your figure and overall fitness after birth by restoring tone to the deep muscles of the pelvis and lower back. Each week helps your body to recover from the birth and tones your abdominal muscles using yoga breathing, with the additional effect of inducing deeper sleep and reducing postnatal fatigue.

The classes are designed to be done with your baby; there are interactive mother and baby movements to promote active bonding during your baby’s first months. This is also time for you as classes are about “mothering the mother”; giving yourself some TLC whilst also learning to relax with your baby.

Mum and Baby Yoga classes help you create a new foundation for better fitness while being energised from within and enjoying your baby fully. It also offers the chance to connect with other new mums in a supportive environment.
